Hybrid doesn’t mean compromising on power, according to Honda

Honda headquarters has recently announced that they will release a next generation hybrid sports coupe that will surpass the CR-Z in performance. Honda engineers are working on a putting a cleaner, more fuel-efficient 2.5 liter, four-cylinder gas engine on Honda’s well-known IMA hybrid system in this new model. By doing this the new coupe’s engine capacity increases by one full liter (over the CR-Z). Honda headquarters tells the Milpitas Honda Civic dealer that this new model will be the same size as the Accord Coupe and have four seats.
