Hybrids will dominate Honda’s future as opposed to diesel

The Civic San Francisco dealer is very excited about Honda’s recent announcement that they plan on making hybrids nearly as affordable as gas-powered cars and they plan on putting lithium batteries in the Civic Hybrid and Honda’s other hybrids. Also, Honda plans on increasing hybrid production in small and large cars and introduce new  Acura luxury hybrids. They plan on releasing these new models, within the next two to three years.  Honda says that the new lithium ion batteries will be produced with Honda’s joint-venture partner, GS Yuasa Corp., starting in the second half of this year.

Does the future hold a spot for one person mobile vehicles?

Over the last couple of years car companies like Honda have been working on the creation of one person mobile vehicles to fix the problem of personal urban mobility. As populations age and urban areas become more crowded, the ability for city dwellers to get around has become quite a problem. Not only has Honda created a solution to help people get around, they have made it environmentally friendly too. The 3R-C concept made its debut this month at the Geneva International Motor Show, and the Honda CR-V San Francisco dealer says the 3R-c  has been generating quite the buzz surrounding the debate over one person mobile vehicles and if they will become more and more popular in the future.

There’s always been this stigma about driving minivans that, to be fair, probably is a little undeserved. After all, we’ve come a long way from the old boxy family vans that looked as though they should be running on diesel and hauling a Mayflower trailer behind it, especially since some of these newer vehicles actually drive pretty similar to large family sedans.
